The point is Dina Bean was his fiancee before she surrendered herself to the wraiths and he truly loved her. So. He was a little miffed when she went insane and then died. And embarked on a journey of revenge and jackassery from then on.
This Antman is pulled from any time AFTER Umi showed up but BEFORE Antman was like "fuck this shit I'm going in" and got himself shot.
